The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has extended warm felicitations to fathers across Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria, and the world at large on the occasion of the 2026 Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement released on Sunday, Hon. Simple described fathers as pillars of strength, symbols of sacrifice, and indispensable architects of strong families and prosperous societies.

According to him, Father’s Day provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the immeasurable contributions of fathers, guardians, and father figures whose unwavering commitment, guidance, and dedication continue to shape the future of their children and communities.
He noted that fathers play critical roles in nurturing values of discipline, integrity, responsibility, hard work, and patriotism, which are essential for nation-building and sustainable development.
“Today, we celebrate the resilience, sacrifices, and unconditional love of fathers who continually strive to provide for their families and raise responsible citizens. Your dedication serves as a source of inspiration and hope for future generations,” Hon. Simple stated.
The Egbeda Local Government Vice Chairman further commended fathers in Egbeda Local Government and Ajorosun LCDA for their contributions to community development, peaceful coexistence, and the overall progress of the local government area.

He urged fathers to remain steadfast in their responsibilities, continue to lead by example, and uphold the virtues of honesty, compassion, and selfless service in their homes and communities.
Hon. Simple who is also chairmanship aspirant for Egbeda local government used the occasion to pray for God’s continued protection, wisdom, strength, and abundant blessings upon all fathers, while remembering those who have departed but whose legacies continue to inspire generations.
