The Chairmanship Aspirant for Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Saheed Abimbola Owonifaari, has extended warm felicitations to fathers and father figures across Ibadan South East Local Government and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement made available to the media on Sunday, Owonifaari described fatherhood as a noble responsibility that requires courage, patience, leadership, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to family and society.

He commended fathers for their sacrifices, wisdom, love, and dedication, noting that their invaluable contributions continue to shape strong families, raise responsible children, and build a better society.
According to him, fathers remain the pillars of many homes, providing guidance, support, and moral direction that help nurture future generations and strengthen communities.
“As we celebrate Father’s Day, I honour and appreciate all fathers and father figures whose sacrifices and commitment continue to inspire hope and progress in our society.
Your efforts in raising responsible children and sustaining family values are worthy of recognition and commendation,” he stated.

The chairmanship aspirant urged fathers to continue upholding the virtues of integrity, hard work, discipline, and compassion, stressing that these values are essential for building peaceful homes and a prosperous society.
Owonifaari also prayed for God’s continued protection, good health, long life, strength, and abundant blessings upon all fathers as they continue to discharge their responsibilities with honour and dignity.
