The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm felicitations to fathers in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria, and across the world as they commemorate this year’s Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement issued through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described fathers as pillars of strength, guardians of family values, and indispensable partners in nation-building whose sacrifices, dedication, and unwavering commitment continue to shape a better society.

According to the chairman, Father’s Day offers a unique opportunity to recognize and appreciate the countless efforts of fathers who work tirelessly to provide for their families, nurture responsible children, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of their communities.
“Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures whose love, wisdom, resilience, and sense of responsibility continue to inspire hope and progress in our society.
Your sacrifices often go unnoticed, yet they remain the foundation upon which strong families and prosperous communities are built,” Olufade stated.
The chairman particularly commended fathers in Ibadan North Local Government for their dedication to family values, community development, and the upbringing of future leaders, noting that their contributions remain vital to sustaining peace, unity, and social advancement.
