The Founder of One Love Family and self-proclaimed Living Perfect Master, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has condemned what he described as “highly repugnant and unacceptable” comments allegedly made by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, against the Igbo ethnic group.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Satguru Maharaj Ji accused Dabiri-Erewa of making “reckless, derogatory and divisive utterances” which he believes can create disaffection among Nigerians and destabilize the country’s unity if not urgently addressed.
According to him, Nigeria’s multicultural composition should be treated with respect and protected from inflammatory speech that can trigger fear, suspicion and political hostility.

“Abike Dabiri must not be made to feel like a ‘sacred cow’. Her alleged remarks are an insult to not only the Igbo people but the entire Black race. Nigeria’s pluralism and heterogeneity must be respected,” Maharaj Ji said.
He further urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to relieve Dabiri-Erewa of her duties as a measure to deter public officials from making statements capable of inciting ethnic crises.
Satguru Maharaj Ji also referenced a September 9, 2025 publication in which columnist Azuka Onwuka reportedly questioned why Dabiri-Erewa remained in office despite similar controversy.
He alleged that the NiDCOM boss’ utterances may be part of a “political strategy aimed at unsettling the current administration,” insisting that strong disciplinary measures were necessary to maintain peace, harmony and national cohesion.
“We need leaders who promote unity and not those who fuel division among Yoruba, Igbo and other ethnic nationalities. Nigeria needs peace-lovers, not trouble-makers,” he said.
Satguru Maharaj Ji concluded by reaffirming his loyalty to the President and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Long live President Tinubu. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria. My divine love and blessings,” he added.
