The Founder of One Love Family and self-proclaimed Living Perfect Master, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has condemned what he described as โ€œhighly repugnant and unacceptableโ€ comments allegedly made by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, against the Igbo ethnic group.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Satguru Maharaj Ji accused Dabiri-Erewa of making โ€œreckless, derogatory and divisive utterancesโ€ which he believes can create disaffection among Nigerians and destabilize the countryโ€™s unity if not urgently addressed.

According to him, Nigeriaโ€™s multicultural composition should be treated with respect and protected from inflammatory speech that can trigger fear, suspicion and political hostility.

โ€œAbike Dabiri must not be made to feel like a โ€˜sacred cowโ€™. Her alleged remarks are an insult to not only the Igbo people but the entire Black race. Nigeriaโ€™s pluralism and heterogeneity must be respected,โ€ Maharaj Ji said.

He further urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to relieve Dabiri-Erewa of her duties as a measure to deter public officials from making statements capable of inciting ethnic crises.

Satguru Maharaj Ji also referenced a September 9, 2025 publication in which columnist Azuka Onwuka reportedly questioned why Dabiri-Erewa remained in office despite similar controversy.

He alleged that the NiDCOM bossโ€™ utterances may be part of a โ€œpolitical strategy aimed at unsettling the current administration,โ€ insisting that strong disciplinary measures were necessary to maintain peace, harmony and national cohesion.

โ€œWe need leaders who promote unity and not those who fuel division among Yoruba, Igbo and other ethnic nationalities. Nigeria needs peace-lovers, not trouble-makers,โ€ he said.

Satguru Maharaj Ji concluded by reaffirming his loyalty to the President and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

โ€œLong live President Tinubu. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria. My divine love and blessings,โ€ he added.
