The Mayegun of Akobo and AgbaAkin of Olorunda-Abaa, Omoluabi Pataki Oloye Benedict Akika has been appointed Pathfinder of Ibadan Vanguard Sisters.

A sociocultural and sister group of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Ibadan Vanguard Sisters (IVS) today appoint Chief Benedict Akika as their Pathfinder towards his humanitarian and philanthropist activities in the Ibadan Metropolis and Oyo State in general.

While expressing their delight to the activities of the humanitarian and philanthropist so far, the President of the group Van. Dr Alaga Ayo Monsurat speaking of the good heart of Chief Benedict Akika and family irrespective of being a political holder, attached portfolio nor an Ibadan by blood but has been very well like a born and born Ibadan man.

“I was surprised the day when my notice got to the good deeds of Oloye Benedict Akika,
he is not an Ibadan man but he is done very well and his wife,
Almighty God continues to bless them and give them the more strength and unrelenting spirits to do more as they are the hopes of my people in the community and Oyo State at large”, she added.

The Secretary of the group, Van. Mrs Oyebola Toyin Monsurat presents an appointment plaque ‘Pathfinder of IVS’ to Chief Benedict Akika in the presence of other members of Ibadan Vanguard Sisters.

In response, Chief Benedict Akika expressed his profound gratitude to the group for identifying the little which he is doing to put smiles on faces of people and he promised not to relent in doing good as he feels comfortable doing it.

“on behalf of myself, my wife, my family and group Omituntun Benedict Forum; we appreciate this which you have given and shown to us and we hold it to high esteem.

“If many people are doing this, there would less criminal and insecurity in the state and country.

“I appreciate Ibadan Vanguard Sisters and I promise to keep good doings
