Hon. Sekinat Adejumoke Alli, has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency I, following the party’s primary elections held across the wards and constituency on May 21.
Alli secured victory with a wide margin over other aspirants contesting for the party’s ticket, reaffirming her growing popularity and support base within the constituency.




















Party members and delegates reportedly turned out in large numbers during the exercise, which was described as peaceful and well coordinated.
Speaking after her emergence, the ADC flagbearer expressed gratitude to party leaders, delegates, supporters, and members of the party for the confidence reposed in her aspiration.





She noted that the victory was not just personal but a collective achievement for everyone committed to quality representation and grassroots development in Ibadan North Constituency I.
She also called on party faithful and other aspirants to remain united and focused ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that unity and cooperation would be essential for the party’s success at the polls.
“All hands must be on deck as we work together to build a stronger and more prosperous constituency. I appreciate everyone who stood by this project, and I assure the people of effective and people-oriented representation,” she said.
