Ido Local Government councillors have declared their unwavering support for the candidature of Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji for the House of Representatives seat representing Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency, alongside Hon. Omotosho Rafiu, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the State House of Assembly, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
















The endorsement was contained in a statement issued by the Leader of the Legislative Arm of Ido Local Government, Rt. Hon. Adebowale Adedeji, who described both candidates as credible, experienced, and committed to grassroots development.




According to the statement, the council lawmakers expressed confidence in the leadership qualities and political capacity of Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji and Hon. Omotosho Rafiu, noting that their emergence under the APM platform represents a new wave of purposeful representation and people-oriented governance.
Rt. Hon. Adebowale Adedeji stated that the councillors across the wards in Ido Local Government are fully prepared to mobilize massive support and votes for the two candidates to ensure their victory at the polls.
He maintained that the decision to back the duo was based on their track records of service, accessibility to the people, and commitment to the welfare of constituents.





“The councillors in Ido Local Government are united in support of Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji and Hon. Omotosho Rafiu because we believe they possess the vision and capacity to deliver quality representation to the people,” the statement read.
The lawmakers further called on residents, party loyalists, and supporters across the constituency to rally behind the candidates to actualize the collective aspiration for sustainable development and effective representation.
They also assured party members and supporters of intensified grassroots mobilization, consultations, and strategic engagements aimed at securing an overwhelming victory for the APM candidates during the 2027 elections.
