This definitive triumph is a clear and undeniable reflection of his wide acceptance across the progressive fold and his deep-rooted, enduring appeal among the grassroots. It is a victory that rightfully crowns his decades of administrative grit, political loyalty, and legislative excellence.
I also wish to extend my warmest congratulations to the entire APC family, from our national and state leadership to the diligent delegates and the incredibly passionate party faithful, for actively participating in a democratic exercise that has successfully produced a formidable and unifying flag-bearer for our great party.

​In equal measure, I wish to heartily congratulate myself, my campaign team, and my teeming, loyal supporters across the 33 Local Government Areas of our state.
The overwhelming margin of this triumph is, indeed, a powerful vindication of our foresight, maturity, and political sagacity.
It proves beyond all doubt that the difficult yet pragmatic decision we took just hours before the primary to step down and endorse the Distinguished Senator was the absolute right decision for the collective survival and victory of our party.
This outcome is a beautiful validation of our structural strength and our commitment to being progressives in deed and in truth.
We are now transitioning from this internal democratic contest to the broader battle for the soul of Oyo State, and I earnestly call upon all my esteemed co-aspirants and their supporters to immediately close ranks and unite solidly behind our party’s candidate.
A primary election is fundamentally a family affair – a contest of ideas among brothers, not a battle of enemies.
We must constantly remind ourselves that the progressive fold must never be fractured; a divided house cannot possibly execute the monumental task of unseating an incumbent administration.
The real opposition is outside our gates, and the only way to rescue our state from its current trajectory of stagnant, uninspired governance is to build an impenetrable, statewide coalition.
We must genuinely collapse our individual structures into the collective progressive machinery, and ensure that personal ambitions gracefully give way to the ultimate goal of delivering the APC in the general election.
On my part, the AKK political structure remains absolutely committed, seamlessly integrated, and actively mobilised to ensure that the APC achieves a landslide victory at the forthcoming polls.
I have no doubt that Senator Sharafadeen Alli possesses the required temperament, intellect, and administrative pedigree to deliver the excellent governance our people so desperately need, and we are completely ready to deploy our resources, strategic insights, and human capital to see him sworn in as the next Executive Governor.
Let us march forward with an unbroken resolve, fully aware that when progressives stand together with a unified voice and a shared developmental vision, victory is not just a possibility – it is an inevitability.
