A prominent ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Seye Famojuro, the Balogun Bobajiro of Orile Igbon, has gifted a brand new Nissan cae to a respected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Ibadan North Local Government, Baba Ismaila Ashipa.
The vehicle was officially presented to Baba Ashipa on Friday afternoon at his Ikolaba residence in Ibadan amid excitement from political associates.
Speaking during the presentation, Otunba Famojuro described Baba Ashipa as an elder statesman who has remained steadfast in sustaining the unity and stability of the PDP in Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State at large.
He noted that Baba Ashipa’s unwavering loyalty and support for Governor Makinde, coupled with his vast political experience and leadership qualities, made him deserving of the honour.
According to Famojuro, Baba Ashipa is widely respected for his political wisdom, maturity, and commitment to the growth of the party.
He further commended the PDP chieftain for his consistency, dedication, and ability to provide guidance for younger politicians within the party, urging him to continue playing his fatherly and vibrant leadership role for the progress of the PDP.
Responding, Baba Ashipa expressed profound appreciation to Otunba Famojuro for the generous gesture, describing it as surprising and deeply appreciated.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, as well as his continued loyalty and support for Governor Seyi Makinde.
