The esteemed Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Excellency High Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, extended a warm invitation to the Aare and Yeye Aare, His Eminence Alh Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak; Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Edo & Delta States and Aare Of Ibadanland, the Aare Musulumi in Council and host of dignitaries for a special Ramadan/Iftar gathering at his residence on Ondo Street, Bodija Estate, Ibadan.

The event, which took place yesterday, was a testament to the spirit of unity and fellowship during the holy month of Ramadan. Dignitaries from various walks of life graced the occasion, including the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, Al-Imam Abdulrasheed Abdulazeez, who delivered a special prayer and sermon.

In his prayer, Al-Imam Abdulrasheed Abdulazeez invoked blessings upon High Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Governor Seyi Makinde, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, the Aare of Ibadanland, and all attendees present. The gathering was filled with a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the blessings bestowed upon them during this auspicious month.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance were prominent figures such as the Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji YK. Abass, the Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Azeezat Abeo NURUDEEN, Alhaji Mukaila Adebayo – Chairman, New Gbagi Market Elders’ Council, Alhaji K. O Lawal – Babalaje Of New Gbagi Market, Alhaji Rasheed Oladepo (Rashylad), Hon Nureni Adisa; Director WEMABOD, Dr Ibrahim Adebolu; Immediate Past Vice Chairman Oyo State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (Muslim Wing), Alhaji (Arc.) Abdulazeez alongside the Oyo State Yoruba Youth Leader, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde and other dignitaries.

The event served as a platform for fostering goodwill, camaraderie, and unity among the people of Ibadanland and beyond. High Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja expressed his gratitude to all attendees for their presence and participation in the special Ramadan/Iftar gathering.
