The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Olodo, Ibadan, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has encouraged residents of Egbeda Local Government and Oyo State at large to embrace optimism and maintain a positive outlook as they begin a new week.
In a goodwill message released on Monday, June 22, 2026, the chairmanship aspirant for Egbeda Local Government emphasized the importance of focusing on positive possibilities rather than dwelling on challenges and setbacks.
According to Hon. Oladebo, perpetual optimism remains a powerful force capable of inspiring progress, strengthening determination, and fostering success in both personal and collective endeavors.
He noted that while pessimism often breeds weakness and discouragement, optimism empowers individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
Drawing from personal experience, the grassroots politician stressed that discouragement should never be allowed to hinder aspirations, adding that maintaining a positive mindset often attracts positive outcomes.
“One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged.
When you speak positively and believe in positive possibilities, you create the right atmosphere for success and growth,” he stated.
Hon. Oladebo further expressed confidence that the new week would usher in fresh opportunities, productivity, and blessings for residents, urging everyone to remain hopeful, hardworking, and committed to their aspirations.
