The political head of Irepodun LCDA, Hon. Olufemi Oladejo, popularly known as Femi Bantu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims worldwide, particularly those within the LCDA, on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-kabir festival.
In a statement issued through his media office, Hon. Oladejo expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the faithful the opportunity to witness another Eid al-Adha celebration despite the various challenges confronting the nation.

He noted that the significance of Ileya goes beyond religious observance, describing it as a season that reinforces the values of sacrifice, compassion, selflessness and concern for the welfare of others.
The LCDA political head urged residents of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to continue praying for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the state and the country.
According to him, sustained prayers and collective commitment to the common good remain essential to overcoming the nation’s challenges and achieving lasting development.
Hon. Femi also appealed to the people to remember victims of insecurity in their prayers, particularly those who have been abducted in different parts of Oyo State, while expressing hope for their safe and speedy return to their families.

He stressed the need for unity, empathy and community support during difficult times.
While wishing Muslims a joyful and fulfilling celebration, Hon. Bantu advised residents to celebrate responsibly, exercise moderation and remain security conscious at all times.
He further encouraged members of the public to promptly report any suspicious movements or activities to the appropriate security agencies to safeguard lives and property.
He prayed that the blessings of Eid al-Adha would bring peace, happiness, divine favour and abundant prosperity to every home and to the nation as a whole.
