Engr. Oluseyi Oyebamiji has extended warm greetings to workers, artisans and traders across Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo State at large, applauding their sacrifice, strength and commitment to economic growth and development.
In his May Day broadcast message released earlier today, Engr. Oyebamiji described workers as “the backbone of every society”, noting that their contribution remains central to growth and advancement.
“All over the world, workers remain the engine that drives progress, innovation and development. Their efforts sustain economies,” he stated.
He also seized the moment to commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his people-oriented leadership, highlighting his consistency in paying salaries above the national minimum wage, his commitment to recruitment into key sectors and the creation of an enabling environment that attracts investment and supports business growth.
“Governor Makinde has shown that governance, when anchored on compassion and purpose, can bring real relief to the people,” Oyebamiji noted, adding that “His Excellency’s policies have positioned Oyo as a destination of choice for investors.”
Oyebamiji particularly praised the resilience of workers, artisans and traders in the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, recognizing their unwavering dedication despite prevailing economic challenges instituted by the poor economic policies of the APC government.
He expressed optimism that with sustained unity and hard work, the constituency and the nation will continue to rise.
As the new month begins, Engr. Oyebamiji also wished all residents peace, renewed strength and greater progress in all endeavours.
