A former House of Representatives aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency and the Aare of Akoboland, Hon. Mathew Alani Oyeniyi, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, and the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru, on their emergence as the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Chairmanship candidates for the forthcoming Oyo State Local Government Election.

Oyeniyi described the return tickets granted to the two council chairmen as a fitting reward for exemplary leadership, exceptional performance, and their unwavering commitment to grassroots development.










 




In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists on Monday, the former federal lawmaker aspirant commended Olufade and Mudashiru for demonstrating that public office is a platform for service, integrity, and the delivery of meaningful development to the people.

According to him, both chairmen have distinguished themselves through visionary and inclusive leadership, implementing impactful programmes and projects that have improved infrastructure, enhanced the welfare of residents, strengthened local economies, and promoted sustainable development within their respective local government areas.

“The decision of the Allied Peoples’ Movement to entrust Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade and Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru with another opportunity to serve is not only justified but also a clear recognition of their outstanding records in office.

“Their administrations have been defined by inclusiveness, accountability, people-centred governance, and a relentless commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy.

 

They have earned the trust of their party and the admiration of the people through hard work and visible achievements.

“Their return tickets are testimonies to the fact that impactful leadership will always attract recognition and public support,” Oyeniyi stated.

He expressed confidence that both chairmanship candidates would secure convincing victories in the forthcoming local government election, noting that the people would once again demonstrate their appreciation for tested, competent, and result-oriented leaders at the polls.

Oyeniyi also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for Olufade and Mudashiru as they prepare for another term of service to their respective local government areas.

“I have no doubt that Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade and Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashiru will emerge victorious in the forthcoming election. Their achievements have laid a solid foundation for even greater progress.

“I pray that Almighty God grants them greater wisdom, sound judgment, divine direction, and the strength to continue serving their people with dedication and excellence. May their second term usher in unprecedented development, peace, and prosperity for the good people of Ibadan North and Lagelu Local Government Areas,” he added.

Oyeniyi concluded by wishing both APM chairmanship candidates successful campaigns and resounding victories at the polls, expressing confidence that their renewed mandates would further consolidate the developmental strides and legacies they have established in their respective councils.
