Hon. Taiwo Adebola, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Councillorship Candidate for Ward 4, Ibadan North Local Government, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, on his emergence as the party’s Chairmanship Candidate for the forthcoming 2026 Local Government Elections through a consensus of the party’s leadership and stakeholders.
Hon. Adebola who is presently the leader of the house in Ibadan North Local Government described the development as a deserving recognition of Hon. According to her, the overwhelming confidence reposed in the council chairman by the leadership of the Allied Peoples Movement is a reflection of the remarkable achievements recorded under his administration, his inclusive style of governance and his dedication to improving the lives of the people.
She noted that Hon. Olufade has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership by prioritising infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment, grassroots engagement and quality service delivery, adding that his emergence as the party’s standard-bearer has further strengthened the confidence of party members ahead of the forthcoming elections.
