The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Security Coordination, Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is “stronger than ever,” while pouring glowing commendations on the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, for his exceptional, seamless, and globally admired hosting of the 2025 PDP National Convention in Ibadan.
Hon. De-Bomba described the convention as “a masterclass in political coordination, leadership brilliance, and administrative excellence,” noting that Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated why he remains one of Nigeria’s most admired leaders.
According to him, the success recorded in Ibadan did not happen by chance, but was the direct result of the Governor’s strategic intelligence, unmatched organisational skill, and unwavering commitment to the growth and unity of the PDP.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown the nation that leadership is not about titles, but impact.
Ibadan hosted the convention with flawless precision, warm hospitality, and world-standard coordination.
It was another beautiful reminder that under Makinde, Oyo State is a hub of stability, innovation, and political maturity,” De-Bomba said.
He added that from logistics to security, from crowd management to national participation, every element of the event reaffirmed the Governor’s place as a transformational leader and a beacon of good governance.
Hon. De-Bomba further extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, describing his emergence as “a rejuvenating breeze and a symbol of renewed hope for the future of the party.”

I congratulate him warmly and pray for a successful and impactful tenure,” he added.
He also celebrated the election of Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja as National Secretary of the party, noting that his wealth of experience, loyalty, and dedication will reposition the national secretariat for greater efficiency.
