81st Birthday: Olubadan Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun Receives Heartfelt Birthday Wishes from Mogaji Tegbe -

On behalf of my family and the entire Oguntegbe dynasty, I felicitate with our Father, His Imperial Majesty; Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, the Olubadan of Ibadan as he clocks eighty-one years on the face of the earth.

Longevity is a special grace from Almighty Allah which our revered monarch enjoys. It is therefore imperative to thank Almighty Allah on behalf of Kabiyesi, the Ali-Iwo dynasty and indeed all Ibadan sons and daughters.

‘Kabiyesi has lived a life of service, striving for the progress and unity of Nigeria, and working tirelessly for the development and growth of Ibadan and her people. The cultural tranquility and socio-economic development that Ibadan land and her people have experienced since your ascension to the throne of your ancestors is a testimony to the good fortune your reign has brought to the city and it’s people.

Once again, on behalf of the entire Oguntegbe compound, I congratulate Kabiyesi as he celebrates a new year today. I pray that the Almighty grants him more years in good health and wealth.
