Deep within the revered halls of the National Assembly lies a cherished tradition – the celebration of its distinguished members’ birthdays. Yesterday, the spotlight shone brightly on Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, affectionately known as Odidi Omo. Representing the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, this celebration underscored the unity and camaraderie within the National Assembly.

A Unique Tradition:
Within the National Assembly, birthdays hold a distinctive significance. It’s a tradition where leaders unite to pay tribute to the accomplishments and milestones of their fellow representatives. Yesterday, all eyes were on Rep. Stanley Adedeji Olajide, lovingly referred to as Odidi Omo.

The celebration unfolded within the confines of the celebrant’s office, a place filled with significance and history. Among the distinguished guests were the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, members of the PDP Southwest Caucus, and the entire Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, led by Hon. Idahosa. Hon. Kuye and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence.

Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu extended heartfelt wishes to Hon. Stanley Olajide on behalf of the House Speaker: “Dear Hon. Stanley, today is a day of celebration as you mark another year. Your life exemplifies service to humanity, embodying the values of law, honesty, hard work, and courage. May the good Lord grant you wisdom, a sound heart, and many more years of positive impact.”

Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide expressed his sincere appreciation, saying, “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass and all distinguished members of the hallowed chambers. Your kindness means the world to me.”
