The Chairman of the Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) Oyo State Council, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has felicitated Hon. Seun Fakorede on his appointment as Executive Assistant on Youth and Sports, Prince Adebowale Falana on his new role as Chairman of the Agency for Youth Development, and Comrade (Mrs.) Bobola Agbeja on her appointment as a board member of Oyo state community and social development Agency.

In a press statement personally signed by Asoju Odo Alawode and made available to newsmen, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed officials. Alawode commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his commitment to youth inclusivity in governance, recognizing the significant contributions of young leaders in shaping the future of Oyo State.

“Hon. Seun Fakorede, as the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, has shown exemplary leadership and dedication to the youth of Oyo State. His appointment as Executive Assistant on Youth and Sports is well-deserved and a testament to his unwavering commitment,” Alawode stated.

“Prince Adebowale Falana, as the Transition Committee Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, has demonstrated his capability and passion for youth development. His new role as Chairman of the Agency for Youth Development will further enhance the empowerment of our young people,” he added.

“Comrade (Mrs.) Bobola Agbeja, former NYCN Chairperson, has been a tireless advocate for youth engagement and empowerment. Her appointment as Board member of the Oyo State community and socialize development Agency is a recognition of her hard work and dedication.”

Asoju Odo Alawode also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and commitment to including young leaders in governance. “Governor Makinde’s inclusivity in appointing vibrant and dedicated young individuals is a clear indication of his belief in the potential of our youth. It is a move that will undoubtedly drive positive change and development in Oyo State.”
