The Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, has expressed her commendation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for deeming the new set of appointees worthy of their respective positions.

In a statement made public by her media team, she congratulated all the appointees, including the former Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, now the Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Ademola Omotosho, and the Director-General of Ibadan North PDP Local Government election, as well as Chairman Transition Committee to the newly elected Chairman of Ibadan North, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade (ONALA), now the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency, Prince Falana Adebowale.

She further extended her felicitations to the former state honourable from Ibadan South-East, Hon. Akeem Ademola, and Mrs. Funmilayo on their appointments as Chairman of the Local Government Pensions Board and Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, respectively.

The Oyo lawmaker also congratulated the former Chairman of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYRTMA), Mógàjí (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi, on his new role as the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, and the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede, on his new position as the Executive Adviser on Youth and Sports, along with many others on their well-deserved appointments.

She concluded her statement with prayers, asking God to grant them all more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to excel in their new roles. She also urged the newly appointed officials to view their tasks as a call to service, contributing to the fulfillment of the OMITUNTUN 2.0 vision of Oyo State’s Roadmap for Sustainable Development 2023-2027.

She concluded by expressing gratitude to God for giving Oyo State a kind-hearted leader in the Executive Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his team of advisors.
