Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the chairman-elect of Ibadan North Local Government, has extended his congratulations to several key figures on their recent appointments by Governor Seyi Makinde.

These appointments mark significant milestones in the administration of Oyo State.

Hon. Adebowale Falana, popularly known as Prince, has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.

Prince Adebowale, who served as the Director General of the Olufade Campaign Committee and currently chairs the Transition Committee of Ibadan North Local Government, received special commendation from Olufade.

Hon. Ademola Omotosho, a former chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, has been appointed as the chairman of the Oyo State Housing Corporation.

His extensive experience in local governance is expected to bring valuable insights to the housing sector.

Dr. Akin Fagbemi Former chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Maintenance Agency, has been named the chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board.

His leadership is anticipated to drive improvements in the state’s healthcare system.

Hon. Seun Fakorede, the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, has been appointed as the Executive Adviser on Youth and Sports.

His continued role in youth and sports development aligns with his previous contributions to the sector.

Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, who is set to be sworn in as the executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government on May 24, 2024, expressed his confidence in the capabilities of these appointees.

“Their appointments are well-deserved, and I am optimistic about the positive impact they will make in their respective roles,” he stated.

Both Hon. Omotosho and Adebowale Falana hail from the same federal constituency as Hon. Olufade, underscoring a strong representation of their community in the state’s leadership.

As these newly appointed officials embark on their new responsibilities, Hon. Olufade extended his best wishes for their success and emphasized his support for their efforts to enhance governance and development in Oyo State.
