The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Kolawole Adedeji Sheu, popularly known as KSA, has received several former members of the APC and RoCoF into the APM during a grassroots engagement across communities in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The political engagements, which formed part of KSA’s ongoing consultations and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, took the APM candidate and his team to Ward 4 in Apete, Oloro-Olomo and other communities within the area.
At Ward 4, Apete, KSA formally received APC/RoCoF decampees who announced their decision to join the APM, while assuring them of equal participation and inclusion within the party.
The APM candidate subsequently visited Oloro-Olomo, where prominent community members, including Baba Jerry, Ologboro and Bendel, were received into the APM alongside their supporters.
Beyond political engagement, KSA also announced financial support for various community development initiatives and local stakeholders across the areas visited.
He donated ₦500,000 to Diamond Estate, ₦1 million to Oloro-Olomo, ₦1 million to Araromi Alaaka and ₦500,000 to Apete market traders.
A further ₦500,000 was donated to the Logudu Ogunrinde community, bringing the total value of the financial donations announced during the engagements to ₦3.5 million.
Speaking during the visits, KSA reiterated his commitment to grassroots development, stressing the need for political representation to translate into tangible benefits for communities and residents.
He said his engagements with communities were driven by the desire to listen to residents, understand their concerns and build stronger relationships ahead of the 2027 elections.
The APM candidate also welcomed the new members into the party, assuring them that their decision to join the movement would be respected and that they would have a role to play in building a stronger political structure in Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
The development further adds momentum to KSA’s grassroots mobilisation efforts across the federal constituency as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather pace.
