A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Egbeda State Constituency and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the same constituency, Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola, has felicitated with his colleague, brother and friend, Hon. Rilwan Gbadamosi Saminu, popularly known as “Wale Canada,” on the occasion of his 50th birthday anniversary.
Hon. Babalola described the golden jubilee of the lawmaker representing Saki East/Atisbo state constituency in the Oyo State House Of Assembly, Hon. Gbadamosi as a remarkable milestone deserving of celebration, noting that attaining the age of 50 is an opportunity to reflect on a life characterised by courage, meaningful relationships, service to humanity and unwavering commitment to one’s convictions.
He described the celebrant as a man of courage, wisdom and strong character who has distinguished himself through his contributions to public service and his ability to remain steadfast in whatever he believes in.
According to him, Wale Canada is a personality whose courage and forthrightness have earned him the respect and admiration of many people across political and social circles.
“Hon. Rilwan Gbadamosi, popularly known as Wale Canada, is a man of courage, conviction and uncommon strength of character.
He is someone who does not shy away from expressing his views or standing firmly for what he believes is right. These qualities have continued to distinguish him as a respected personality,” Babalola said.
The Egbeda lawmaker further described the celebrant as a dependable colleague, brother and public servant whose wealth of experience and wisdom have continued to be valuable to those around him.
He noted that beyond political affiliations and public responsibilities, Hon. Gbadamosi has built relationships based on mutual respect, loyalty and genuine concern for the progress and wellbeing of others.
Hon. Babalola said the celebrant’s 50th birthday is not only a celebration of age but also a celebration of the experiences, achievements, relationships and contributions that have shaped his journey over the past five decades.
