The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has extended warm birthday felicitation to Agbaakin of Olorunda Aaba and Mayegun of Akoboland, Chief Benedict Akika, describing him as a dependable brother, trusted friend, and unwavering pillar of support.
In a heartfelt birthday message made available to journalists on Thursday, Hon. Babajide Gabriel praised Chief Akika for his steadfast loyalty, generosity, and unwavering commitment to humanity, noting that his contributions to the growth of APM and the development of society remain worthy of admiration.
“Today, I celebrate not just a respected political leader, but someone who occupies a special place in my life. Chief Benedict Akika is more than a friend; he is my brother, my confidant, and a dependable source of strength.
“He has stood by me through every season, offering encouragement, support, and sincere friendship.
I am truly grateful to have someone like him in my life,” the lawmaker said.
Hon. Babajide Gabriel noted that Chief Akika’s remarkable qualities, including his humility, loyalty, selflessness, and compassion, have earned him the admiration of many within and outside the political space.
