The Association of Market Men and Women in Akinyele Local Government has reiterated its unwavering support for the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, during a courtesy visit to his office at the Local Government Secretariat, Moniya, Ibadan.






















The market leaders, led by the Iyaloja of Akinyele Local Government, Alhaja Fausat Adegbite, commended the Chairman for his exemplary leadership, remarkable developmental strides, and people-oriented governance.





They also declared their unflinching support for the presidential ambition of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde who they see as the solution to the Problem Nigeria is Currently Facing, as well as all candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in future elections.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Alhaja Fausat Adegbite praised Hon. Akinwole Akinleye for his commitment to grassroots development and the numerous achievements recorded under his administration.
She noted that the Executive Chairman has continued to replicate the exemplary leadership style of Governor Seyi Makinde, whom she described as a true people’s governor dedicated to improving the lives of citizens.
The Iyaloja offered prayers for the Executive Chairman’s continued success and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver even greater dividends of democracy to the people of Akinyele Local Government.
Also speaking during the visit, Alhaja Awujo Adebiyi, Treasurer of the Oyo State Market Men and Women Association, Akinyele Local Government Chapter, and Alhaja Azeez Ajibola, Coordinator of the Association in Akinyele Local Government, reaffirmed that market men and women across the council area have greatly benefited from the benevolence and inclusive leadership of Hon. Akinwole Akinleye.
They pledged the collective support of traders and market stakeholders towards ensuring the success of all APM candidates in the forthcoming general elections, assuring the Executive Chairman that the association would continue to stand firmly behind his administration in the pursuit of sustainable development and political success in the local government.
In his response, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye expressed profound appreciation to the market leaders for their continuous support, loyalty, and confidence in his administration. He urged members of the association to remain united, focused, and committed to the progress of Akinyele Local Government, stressing that unity remains a vital ingredient for achieving greater success.
The meeting ended on a cordial note with renewed commitments to strengthening the partnership between the local government and market stakeholders for the overall development and prosperity of Akinyele Local Government.
