In a strategic move to deepen grassroots engagement and strengthen traditional institutions ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Allied People’s Movement, APM, candidate for Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, has commenced extensive consultations with prominent traditional rulers and key political stakeholders across Ibarapa East Local Government.

The courtesy visits form part of Hon. Adedeji’s ongoing consultations to seek royal blessings, harness community wisdom, and align his legislative agenda with the yearnings and aspirations of the people.








 

Hon. Adedeji’s engagement tour underscores his belief that effective representation must be rooted in consultation, inclusiveness, and respect for traditional institutions.




The visits provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on pressing constituency issues, including youth empowerment, infrastructural development, community welfare, economic growth, and the sustenance of peace and unity across Ibarapa East and the wider federal constituency.

During the visit, Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji paid homage to His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, the Eleruwa of Eruwa, and His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Olusegun Oladejo, the Onilala of Lanlate.

 

The meetings centered on preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ibarapa land while advancing sustainable development initiatives that will improve the quality of life for residents.

The APM candidate sought the blessings, prayers, and fatherly counsel of the royal fathers, reaffirming his resolve to deliver purposeful and people-oriented representation that prioritizes the needs of every community, ward, and household within Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

He emphasized that leadership must be guided by cultural values, community trust, and a genuine commitment to public service.

Hon. Adedeji was joined during the tour by a strong delegation of notable leaders and party stakeholders, including former Commissioner Hon. Moses Ojoawo, former House of Representatives member Hon. Oluyemi Taiwo, Ibarapa East Council Chairman Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, Hon. Obalowo, Alhaji Ganiyu Aderibigbe, Ido leaders led by Sheu Alabanla, the Senior Adviser to the Governor on Ido/Ibarapa Affairs, Hon. Akano, Ido APM Chairman Alhaji Musbau Emiola, Pastor Akintokun, and members of the APM in Ibarapa East.

The convergence of political heavyweights and grassroots leaders at the engagements reflects the growing momentum behind Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji’s candidacy and the broad-based support his vision enjoys across party lines and communities.
