Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) aspirant for Ibadan South West Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro following his appointment by Governor Seyi Makinde as Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Oyo State.
In a congratulatory statement personally signed by Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, the Ibadan South West-born politician described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of competence, integrity, dedication and commitment to public service.
Hon. Akinsete expressed pride in sharing the same local government, Ibadan South West Local Government, with the newly appointed Special Adviser, noting that the appointment has once again brought honour and pride to the people of the council area.
According to him, Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro remains a humane, brilliant and loving personality whose outstanding character, intelligence and people-oriented disposition have consistently distinguished him among his peers.
The APM House of Assembly aspirant further stated that Mr. Fagbenro possesses the experience, exposure and leadership capacity required to deliver excellently in his new office, expressing confidence that he would perform beyond expectations in strengthening the security architecture of Oyo State.
“Your appointment is not only a victory for merit but also a source of pride for all of us from Ibadan South West Local Government.
I am strongly confident that you will justify the trust reposed in you and perform beyond expectations in service to our dear state,” Hon. Akinsete stated.
He also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing capable and tested individuals into strategic positions, describing the governor as a leader committed to excellence, good governance and sustainable development.
Hon. Akinsete prayed for divine wisdom, strength and guidance for Mr. Fagbenro as he assumes the important responsibility of safeguarding lives and property across Oyo State.
