As Nigeria joins the global community in marking Workers’ Day, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele has paid glowing tribute to the hardworking men and women whose daily sacrifices continue to shape the growth and development of the local government.

In a heartfelt message made available through his Personal Assistant, Azeez Sodiq Adesina, the Chairman described workers as more than a workforce, he called them the lifeblood of progress, the silent builders of society and the enduring strength behind every meaningful achievement recorded in Ibarapa Central.

He noted that every milestone attained by the local government is deeply rooted in the resilience, discipline and steadfast commitment of its people from civil servants and teachers to healthcare professionals, artisans, traders and security personnel, each playing a vital role in advancing the collective good.

Hon. Adeleke emphasized that behind every functioning system, every improved road, every thriving school and every strengthened institution are men and women who rise daily with a sense of purpose and responsibility, often without recognition, yet never without impact.

“Workers are the true architects of our progress.

Their dedication goes beyond duty, it is a sacrifice driven by hope for a better tomorrow. Today, we do not just celebrate their labour; we honour their spirit, their resilience and their invaluable contributions to our society,” he stated.

The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving workers’ welfare and creating an enabling environment where diligence is rewarded, productivity is supported and every worker is treated with dignity and respect.

“As we mark this important day, let it remind us that the strength of any society lies in the well-being of its workforce.

We will continue to pursue policies and initiatives that uplift our workers and empower them to achieve more,” he added.

He concluded by wishing all workers a fulfilling and peaceful celebration, praying for renewed strength, greater opportunities and continued success in their service to Ibarapa Central and the nation at large.
