As the nation marked the 2026 International Workers’ Day alongside the global community, the Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political head/ Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, conveyed heartfelt greetings to workers within Ajorosun, Egbeda, Oyo State, and across the country.
In a message released to commemorate the occasion, the Egbeda PDP chairmanship aspirant applauded the invaluable role played by Nigerian workers in driving growth and sustaining national advancement, noting that their efforts remain central to societal development and economic stability.

“On this special day, we honour the diligence, sacrifice, and perseverance of our workforce, the very foundation upon which our communities and nation stand,” he said.
He further acknowledged the consistency and courage displayed by workers in the face of numerous challenges, describing their dedication as both inspiring and worthy of recognition.
Hon. Simple stressed the need to continually uplift the workforce, reaffirming his administration’s resolve to create an enabling environment that encourages productivity, supports innovation, and prioritizes the well-being of workers.
He also urged workers to stay committed to their duties and to the broader goal of national development, emphasizing that a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria depends largely on a motivated and capable labour force.
