The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders’ meeting has produced another major breakthrough, with the emergence of a new consensus candidate for a key federal constituency.

At the high-level meeting held in the presence of Governor Seyi Makinde, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (also known as Hon. Adedeji Kolapo Shehu) was confirmed as the consensus candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.

His emergence followed extensive consultations and alignment among party leaders and stakeholders, reflecting a growing unity within the party’s structure ahead of future electoral contests.

Sources at the meeting disclosed that the consensus arrangement is part of a broader strategy to minimize internal disputes, strengthen cohesion, and position the PDP for a strong and coordinated outing.

The stakeholders’ meeting is still ongoing, with more developments expected as deliberations continue across the various constituencies.
