I attended the Ibadan South West Local Government APC meeting today, where I made it unequivocally clear that our party, APC, does not yet have a governorship candidate.

This remains the position until a consensus is officially reached and agreed upon by all aspirants, and duly communicated by the party leadership.
I also reaffirmed my unwavering loyalty to our great party, regardless of the eventual outcome of the governorship race. At this critical time, the paramount consideration must be inclusiveness in decision-making, as well as the readiness of whoever emerges to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to advance the development of Oyo State.

My commitment to the progress and prosperity of Oyo State remains absolute and unwavering.

I have therefore urged my supporters and group members to remain calm, focused, and respectful of party processes, emphasizing that the party must always come first and its decisions upheld.
APC belongs to all of us, and we must continue to work collectively for its growth and strengthening across all levels.
Finally, I remain optimistic and hopeful of emerging as the party’s governorship candidate.
