Speaking during an interview on Petals FM 102.3, I, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), Oyo State APC Governorship Hopeful, made it clear that my political engagement ahead of 2027 is driven by ideas, vision, and practical solutions—not personal attacks or hostility toward anyone.
In response to questions from the interviewers, I emphasized that leadership is about presenting credible and workable alternatives that can genuinely transform lives.
The responsibility of any serious contender is to clearly communicate what he will do differently and how his approach will improve governance for the benefit of the people.
My intention is not to abuse anyone. My mission is to advocate for the best, enlighten our people, and create sustained awareness about what their lives truly deserve.
I know that the people of Oyo State are discerning and understand what is good for them. However, I also recognize that economic hardship—especially poverty—sometimes makes it difficult for citizens to act in alignment with their long-term interests.
That is why continuous engagement and enlightenment remain central to my approach.
My campaign will focus on educating and empowering our people through clear policy alternatives centered on economic empowerment, quality education, improved security, and people-oriented governance.
Consistently marketing a superior blueprint for development is far more productive than engaging in political mudslinging.
During the interview, I was also asked whether I was concerned that political opponents might attempt to harm me. My response was simple and sincere: I am a man of God and I walk in His fear. My trust is in God.
My ambition is anchored on service, integrity, enlightenment, and the pursuit of a higher quality of life for every Oyosian. I remain focused on building the future—not attacking anyone—as we journey toward 2027.
