The Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, this afternoon, at its 147th meeting held on Friday December 1,2023, renewed the appointment of Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, as Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University for another period of six months.
The initial appointment which took effect from June 12, 2023, is expected to lapse on December 11, 2023. With this development, the appointment of Prof. Kalilu has now been renewed for six months, with effect from December 12, 2023 to June 11, 2024.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council, Professor Ayodeji Omole, who presided over the meeting of Council, appreciated Prof. Kalilu for effectively overseeing the affairs of the University in the last six months and charged him to continue with prioritizing the interest of stakeholders of the Institution and leading it to greater height.
