Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) has extended warm greetings to Christians as they celebrate Christmas and observe the last Sunday of the year 2025, urging them to reflect on the enduring lessons of the season.

In a goodwill message made available to the press, Dr. Kareem described Christmas as a season that embodies love, sacrifice, humility, and compassion, noting that these virtues remain essential for peaceful coexistence and societal progress.

He called on Christians to imbibe the lessons of Christ’s birth and apply them in their daily lives, especially in their relationships with one another and service to humanity.

 


 

 

Dr. Kareem also enjoined Christians to remain prayerful as the year 2026 approaches, stressing the importance of faith, hope, and steadfastness in navigating personal and collective challenges.

According to him, prayers and positive actions are vital as individuals and communities prepare for a new chapter.

He further expressed optimism about the coming year, encouraging citizens to be hopeful and confident that 2026 will be fruitful and filled with greater opportunities.

He urged everyone to work together for peace, unity, and development, irrespective of religious or social differences.

Dr. Kareem concluded by wishing Christians a joyous Christmas celebration and a fulfilling year ahead, praying that the new year brings renewed strength, prosperity, and progress for all.
