Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head/Administrator of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has congratulated Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola (FRYO) on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.
Adedamola clinched the ticket on Tuesday after securing 919 votes at the PDP primary held at Adolak Hall, Osogbo.
His victory followed the formal resignation of Senator Ademola Adeleke from the party, an unexpected development that reshaped the dynamics of the contest.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Oladebo described Adedamola’s victory as “a triumph of courage, consistency, and unshakable conviction,” noting that politics is not for the faint-hearted, and FRYO has once again proven himself as a man of resilience and political sagacity.
According to him, Adedamola’s emergence reflects not only the confidence of party delegates but also the rising belief among stakeholders that he represents a new chapter of purposeful leadership for Osun State.
Hon. Oladebo emphasized that FRYO’s political family in Oyo State stands firmly behind him, reaffirming their unwavering support and affection.
“We love him deeply, we believe in his vision, and we are solidly with him on this journey,” he said.
He expressed strong confidence in Adedamola’s chances in the forthcoming governorship election, stressing that the PDP is well-positioned to reclaim power under his candidacy.
“We are confident,completely confident of his victory.
The momentum is real, the people are ready, and FRYO is prepared to lead Osun into a better future,” he added.
Hon. Oladebo congratulated the new PDP flagbearer, urging party members and supporters across the state to unite behind him for a resounding victory at the polls.
