The Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission and Baale of Lakoto, Osajin, Masoke, Believers’ Quarters and environs, Alhaji Chief Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, has joined eminent Nigerians and indigenes of Ibadanland to celebrate the coronation of Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Chief Aderibigbe described Oba Ladoja’s enthronement as “a crowning of destiny and a fulfillment of Ibadan’s age-long tradition of patience, discipline, and merit.”

He noted that the new Olubadan is not just ascending the throne as a traditional ruler but as “a statesman, a quintessential Chemical Engineer trained at the prestigious University of Liège, Belgium, and a leader whose footprints span the private sector, the Senate, and the Oyo State Government House.”

Chief Aderibigbe praised the monarch’s resilience and brilliance, recalling his remarkable journey from business and politics to the pinnacle of Ibadan’s chieftaincy ladder.

He described Oba Ladoja as “an engineer of people and policies, a bridge between the old and the new, and a custodian of values whose life epitomizes service and integrity.”

On behalf of his family and the people of Lakoto, Osajin, Masoke, and Believers’ Quarters, the Oyo CSC Chairman prayed for a long, peaceful, and prosperous reign for the new Olubadan.

“Kabiyesi, long may you reign in wisdom, peace, and divine grace.

May your leadership unite Ibadanland, bring development, and sustain our cultural heritage,” he said.

Chief Aderibigbe concluded his message with a resounding declaration:

“Long live the Olubadan of Ibadanland,
long live Ibadanland, and long live Oyo State.”
