Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, a former Federal House of Representatives aspirant and the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on Security Coordination, has felicitated Governor Seyi Makinde and his wife, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their recent installation as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.

The revered chieftaincy titles were conferred on the First Family of Oyo State by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure, in a grand ceremony that celebrated virtue, excellence, and leadership on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Speaking in a goodwill message, Hon. Salami described the honour as a clear recognition of Governor Makinde’s rare blend of wisdom, courage, and people-centered leadership, which continues to earn him admiration both within and beyond Oyo State.

“The conferment of the Aare Omoluabi title on our leader is a powerful statement from the traditional institution.

It affirms that integrity, humility, and service to the people still matter in leadership,” De-Bomba noted.

He further applauded the Governor’s sustained commitment to security, infrastructural development, and inclusive governance — all of which, he said, have positioned Oyo State as a model of good governance in Nigeria.

Turning to the First Lady, Hon. Salami commended Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde for her grace, poise, and unwavering dedication to the social wellbeing of women and children in the state.

“The Yeye Aare Omoluabi title bestowed upon Her Excellency is richly deserved.

Her quiet but impactful interventions in the lives of countless families are a true reflection of noble character and womanhood,” he said.

Hon. De-Bomba expressed confidence that the honour would further inspire the First Family to continue their selfless service to humanity and wished them more grace, strength, and divine protection in the years ahead.

“This is not just a personal recognition for the Makindes, it is a collective pride for all of us who believe in progressive governance and the enduring values of Omoluabi,” he concluded.
