In a concerted effort to advance peace in Nigerian communities, the Ecolerite Institute for Peace Advancement (EIPA) yesterday inducted Oyo youth leaders and other distinguished Nigerians as professional fellows.
The induction ceremony, which included prominent figures like Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon, Rt. Hon. Israel Fawole, Hon. Adeoti Abiodun, Amb. Afolabi Olayemi, Farayola Hammed and more, took place at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The new fellows, spanning various fields such as broadcast journalism, youth parliament, Rotary leadership, radio presentation, and education consultancy, were recognized for their significant contributions to humanity.
The 9th Leadership Summit/Induction/Honorary Doctorate Degree Award, hosted at Otunba Subomi Balogun Hall, University of Ibadan, served as the backdrop for this prestigious event.
While speaking, the Registrar of Ecolerite Institute for Peace Advancement, Dr. Kazeem Akande emphasized the diverse backgrounds of the recipients, drawn from the seven spheres of society. He urged them to channel their efforts towards furthering peace initiatives in Nigeria and across the African continent.
In response, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon, one of the fellowship awardees, expressed gratitude to the Ecolerite Institute for Peace Advancement and pledged to continue being an ambassador of peace. This significant recognition underscores the commitment of these leaders to fostering a culture of peace and unity in their communities.
