One of the aspirants in the recently concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus arrangement for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON on his emergence as the party’s consensus candidate.

In his goodwill message, Hon. De-Bomba described Hon. DON’s emergence as not only a testament to his competence and popularity, but also as a reflection of the strategic foresight and peace-building genius of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.

“Let me congratulate my brother, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, on this consensus candidacy.







 

This is a defining moment for our great party and our constituency,” he said.




Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba did not hold back in pouring encomiums on Governor Seyi Makinde, whom he described as “a rare breed of leader with an unwavering commitment to peace, and progress.”

“Governor Makinde remains a shining light in Nigeria’s political space. His style of governance, people-first policies, and ability to unite divergent interests under a common vision continue to inspire all of us,” he stated.

“It is his courage, wisdom, and fatherly disposition that led to this peaceful consensus agreement in Ibadan North, saving us from unnecessary internal strife.”

 

 

 


While affirming his loyalty, Hon. De-Bomba said, “I want to unequivocally declare my total support for the candidacy of Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON and my undiluted, unshakable loyalty to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.

I stand firmly with this project and will work tirelessly for the PDP’s victory.”

He called on fellow party members, supporters, and stakeholders to unite as one strong political family and deliver a massive win for the PDP in the forthcoming bye-election.

“With this consensus, we have sent a strong message that the PDP in Ibadan North is one, focused, and ready for victory.

Let us move together with a renewed spirit of unity and purpose,” he added.

The consensus agreement, which brought together seven aspirants including Hon. De-Bomba, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Bibire, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, Hon. Waheed Biro, Hon. Kamorudeen Oladimeji, and Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, signals a new chapter of cohesion and strategic coordination within the PDP in Ibadan North.
