

The Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji (Chief) Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, has been honoured with the prestigious “Exemplary Promoter of Islamic Values of the Year” award by the National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO), Oyo State chapter.

The award was presented during the HIJRAH Celebration and Award Ceremony held at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.

The event drew a crowd of notable dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Barrister Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal, who represented the state government at the occasion.
In his appreciation speech, Alhaji Aderibigbe expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, DSc, GSSRS, for fostering an inclusive administration that offers Muslims significant roles and opportunities.

He also commended the Deputy Governor, Barr. Adebayo Lawal, for his unwavering commitment and consistent representation of the Muslim community in governance.
Alhaji Aderibigbe extended his heartfelt appreciation to NACOMYO for the honour and recognition, stating that the award serves as a motivation to continue promoting Islamic values and contributing positively to the development of society.
Also honoured at the event were Alhaji Akeem Azeez and Hon. Dawud Olalere, who were equally recognized for their service and commitment to the Muslim community.
The event not only celebrated the Islamic new year (Hijrah) but also highlighted the importance of good leadership and religious values in societal development.
