In the spirit of Easter celebration, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, 2027 gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has extended heartfelt Easter greetings to Christians and residents across the state, emphasizing the enduring power of God’s love and the promise of a hopeful future.

In a message filled with spiritual encouragement and political clarity, Oloye Adegoke reflected on the central theme of Easter; the resurrection of Jesus Christ describing it as the ultimate expression of God’s love, sacrifice, and redemption for humanity.

“This season reminds us that no matter the trials we face, God’s love remains greater, restoring hope, renewing faith, and inspiring change,” he said.

“As Christ gave himself for the good of mankind, so too must leaders offer themselves in service to the people.”

Drawing a strong parallel between the message of Easter and his vision for Oyo State, Oloye Adegoke who is the chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan reiterated that his 2027 gubernatorial ambition is rooted in genuine love for the people and a commitment to transformative leadership encapsulated in his agenda tagged “SOLUTIONS 2027.”

“The message of Easter is not just about faith, it is about action, lifting the weak, healing the broken, and restoring what was lost,” he emphasized.

“This is what SOLUTIONS 2027 represents practical, people-driven governance that reflects the character of Christ: service, compassion, and sacrifice.”

Oloye Adegoke encouraged the people of Oyo State to let the lessons of Easter guide their choices and strengthen their collective resolve to build a state where opportunities abound, unity thrives, and leadership is truly accountable.

He concluded his message with prayers for peace, prosperity, and divine direction for Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

“As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, may new life, new hope, and new beginnings emerge for every home, every heart, and for our beloved Oyo State.”
