Engr. Oluseyi Oyebamiji has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Seriki Adinni of Muslims in Yorubaland and a revered elder statesman, Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, who played a pivotal role in shaping democracy in the state.
Describing Alhaji Adeojo’s demise as a great loss, Engr. Oyebamiji commended his lifelong commitment to the progress of democracy, governance and the stability of the nation.
He acknowledged the Elder-statesman as one of the founding pillars of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, a man who worked tirelessly for the advancement of justice, fairness and good leadership.
“Alhaji Yekini Adeojo lived a fulfilled life, dedicated to service and democracy.
He was a strong advocate for governance built on integrity and accountability and his legacy which extends beyond politics will forever be remembered.” Engr. Oyebamiji remarked.
