In a grand ceremony marking the end of tenure for the Eniosa-Onibepe Landlord Association (LAGELU), the community came together to celebrate the contributions of several distinguished individuals who have impacted the region’s development.
Under the leadership of Pastor Adeoye Musa Adetayo, the association presented awards to deserving individuals, honoring their dedication and commitment to community growth.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of The Rare Gem Award to Omoluabi Pataki Oloye Benedict Akika, the AgbaAkin of Olorunda Abaa and the Mayegun of Akobo Land.
Chief Akika, a prominent figure known for his exemplary leadership, was recognized for his outstanding performance and invaluable contributions to the progress and development of Lagelu Local Government and its surrounding areas.

Also honored at the event was Alhaji Ademola Babalola, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Chapter, who was acknowledged for his dedication to journalism and his tireless advocacy for press freedom and ethical reporting.
