The chairmanship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, on Thursday, received the PDP certificate of returns and OYSIEC nomination form ahead of the forthcoming 2024 local government election.
Speaking with MOUTHPIECE NGR shortly after receiving the PDP certificate of returns at the party secretariat in Ibadan, the immediate chairman of the party in Ogbomoso North Local Government, expressed his gratitude to all party leaders and members for their unwavering support as the PDP preferred chairmanship candidate in the 2024 election.
He equally appreciates the leader of the party in Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to serve under his administration, assuring that he won’t betray the trust placed in him.
In his words, “I humbly express my gratitude to everyone for deeming it fit to offer their support for me as the chairmanship candidate in Ogbomosho North under our party, the People’s Democracy Party (PDP). I am assuring each and every concerned individuals that this mandate bestowed upon me will never be taken for granted.
“I want to extend my deepest appreciation to His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde and our esteemed party leaders for their support. Your wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to our party’s principles have played a pivotal role in shaping my vision and understanding of public service.

My objective is not merely to represent the party but to serve as a voice for all the citizens in our local government, regardless of their backgrounds or affiliations.
