The Market Traders Association of Nigeria, MATAN, on Sunday, felicitated Princess Folashade Abeo Nurudeen, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary, commending her astute leadership and all-inclusive administration in the market.

The traders described Abeo as a naturally born leader who has continued to make substantial contributions and effect on the lives of market traders, artists, and a host of others in the market.

Noting that Abeo has a comprehensive understanding of market challenges, the traders lauded her expertise, experience, exposure, capacity, character, and extensive network of a good market leader.

A statement signed by the Oyo State MATAN Secretary, Mr Solanke Olaniyi, on behalf of Oyo State’s market traders claims that Princess Abeo is not just a remarkable international businesswoman but also a remarkable person whose wisdom, compassion, and altruism have touched many lives.

The group equally praised Abeo’s imaginative approach, strategic thinking, and dedication to quality, noting that her leadership has elevated the market union to new heights.

While encouraging her to continue her journey as a role model for young businesswomen, the market traders urged her to maintain her connection with Oyo and contribute to the State’s prominence in the corporate landscape.

“We have gathered here today to pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose compassion, understanding, and selflessness have impacted innumerable lives.

“We truly salute her for the tenacity, fortitude, and resolve that have enabled her to succeed in the business sector.

“It is a known fact that Oyo State requires a leader with her level of experience and in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by market traders in the state as the world steadily moves towards digitalisation.

“In this twenty-first century, it is no longer acceptable to assign leadership positions to underqualified people.

“Over the years, we have observed with admiration the exceptional contribution of Princess Abeo to market traders through her several empowerment and laudable initiatives at improving the lives of market traders, artisans and those in the business world in Oyo state.

“It is our prayer that our good lord continue to preserve her and grant her many more years on earth in good health and wealth.”
