The legislative arm of Olorunsogo Local Government, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Azeez Afeez Adewale, has celebrated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju Orelope, on the occasion of his 100 days in office, commending his swift and impactful governance since assuming the role.

In a statement released today, the councilors expressed their admiration for Hon. Qozeem’s work ethic, noting that he has “hit the ground running” since his swearing-in, bringing immediate and significant improvements to the local government.

They highlighted his extensive experience in politics, particularly his time as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, as a key factor in his effective leadership, which is already being felt by the people of Olorunsogo.

The legislative arm (councilors) particularly noted the significance of today’s event, where Hon. Qozeem commissioned two major projects: the newly renovated building for the Department of State Security (DSS) and a Community Viewing Center in Igbeti.

These projects, they stated, are clear evidence of the chairman’s dedication to enhancing both security and social infrastructure in the local government.

The councilors also extended their congratulations to the chairman and offered prayers for his continued success, stating, “As you mark this significant achievement of 100 days in office, we pray that the Almighty continues to guide and bless your leadership.

May you continue to achieve even greater things for the people of Olorunsogo Local Government, and may you end this journey as successfully as you have begun it.”

The event was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness, Oba (Engr.) Bashir Abioye Olalekan Siyanbola IV, the Onigbeti of Igbeti, adding a touch of royalty to the proceedings.

Hon. Qozeem’s tenure, though still in its early stages, has been characterized by a proactive and hands-on approach to governance, with the legislative arm pledging their full support for his ongoing and future initiatives.

As the chairman celebrates 100 days in office, the people of Olorunsogo Local Government look forward to more impactful projects and sustained development under his leadership.
