The APM candidate for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke Adlat, has called for greater support for teachers and increased attention to the quality of education.
Adlat made the call in a Teacher’s Day message in which he commended teachers for their contributions to education, character development and the preparation of young people for the future.
According to him, teachers play a role that extends beyond classroom instruction, describing them as “nation-builders” whose patience, sacrifice and commitment deserve recognition.
He also urged stakeholders to continue supporting quality education and to recognise the contribution of educators to the development of communities.
“Teachers are more than educators; they are nation-builders. Their patience, sacrifice and commitment deserve our deepest appreciation,” Adlat said.
He extended his greetings to teachers across Akinyele, Lagelu and beyond, wishing them a happy Teacher’s Day.
