The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Councillorship Candidate for Ward 6 in Ibadan North Local Government, Alhaji. Ibrahim Faira, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, on his emergence as the party’s Chairmanship Candidate for the forthcoming 2026 Local Government Elections.
Alhaji. Faira described the Chairman’s emergence through the consensus of the party’s leadership and stakeholders as a reflection of the confidence and overwhelming support he has earned through his outstanding performance, inclusive governance and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ibadan North Local Government.
According to him, Hon. Olufade has redefined grassroots administration through visionary leadership, prudent management of public resources and the execution of impactful projects that have improved the lives of residents across the twelve wards of the local government.
He noted that the Chairman’s people-oriented approach to governance, accessibility and commitment to delivering democratic dividends have continued to strengthen the confidence of party members and the electorate in the administration.
“Your emergence as our party’s Chairmanship Candidate is a deserving recognition of your exceptional leadership and remarkable contributions to the development of Ibadan North.
Your administration has restored confidence in grassroots governance through transparency, inclusiveness and impactful service delivery.
It is therefore not surprising that our great party has once again entrusted you with the responsibility of leading us into the forthcoming elections.
I am confident that your second term will consolidate on the solid foundation already laid and bring even greater progress to our people,” he stated.
Alhaji. Ibrahim Faira also expressed profound appreciation to the leadership and stakeholders of the Allied Peoples’ Movement from the ward leaders to executives and all tbr members for finding him worthy of another opportunity to represent the party as its Councillorship Candidate for Ward 6.
He described the return ticket as a renewed mandate to continue serving the people of Ward 6 with greater commitment, diligence and effective representation.
