The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, Oloye Adegboyega Toafeek Adegoke, on Wednesday joined his counterparts from Plateau State, Nasarawa State, Adamawa State, and Zamfara State on a courtesy visit to the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar, in Abuja.

The high-level meeting brought together key leaders and governorship candidates of the party as part of ongoing consultations aimed at strengthening the ADC ahead of future political engagements.








 

During the visit, the delegation reaffirmed its commitment to the party’s ideals, unity, and collective vision of providing purposeful leadership and good governance across Nigeria.




The candidates also expressed confidence in the party’s growing momentum and pledged to work collaboratively towards expanding its grassroots support nationwide.

He noted that Oyo State is fully prepared for an ADC victory, emphasizing that the party’s grassroots mobilization, unity among stakeholders, and commitment to good governance have positioned it for electoral success.

Speaking during the meeting, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar commended the candidates for their dedication to the party and encouraged them to remain focused on building a strong and people-oriented political movement capable of delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians.

Adegoke and other candidates called on party faithful to remain steadfast and continue engaging with the people, expressing optimism that the ADC would emerge victorious through the collective efforts of its members and supporters.

The courtesy visit underscores the ADC’s efforts to consolidate its leadership structure and foster greater cooperation among its candidates and stakeholders as preparations continue for future electoral contests.
